In the 13th round of the Kyiv Region Amateur Championship, Mriya went to visit Partizan (Kodra). The match turned out to be surprisingly tense, so both the hosts and the guests had plenty of work to do both in defence and attack, but did not manage to open the scoring.

The course of the game

Throughout the match, Mriya persistently tried to create dangerous moments at the opponent’s goal. However, despite the active play in the front line, shots and potential opportunities did not translate into goals – either due to lack of luck or lack of experience in the final phase of the attack.

From the very first minutes, Partizan took a rather aggressive stance: they quickly covered Mriya’s midfielders and did not allow them to develop combinations. The home defence played almost flawlessly, which made it very difficult for our forwards to find options for a successful shot.

Red card

Unfortunately, there were some troubles: Ivan Chistyak received a red card for quarreling with the referee. This episode was an additional blow to our team, as we had to finish the match in the minority and concentrate even more on defending our own goal.

Conclusions and plans

Despite the zero result, every match at this level is an important experience that helps Mriya become stronger. We thank the fans who support the team and believe in further victories. Together we are moving forward and improving our playing conditions with each round to achieve our goals in the Kyiv Region Championship!

Dreams cannot be stopped!
