On 14 September, as part of the 5th round of the Kyiv Region Amateur Championship, FC Mriya arrived at the Denekhivka Arena to meet FC Dengoff. Unfortunately, our ambitions to break the losing streak against the opponent did not find a response on the field, and the match ended with a score of 5:1.
In the first half of the game, Mriynyky managed to open the scoring thanks to Vladyslav Shulypa’s autogol, which unexpectedly gave us the only goal. This moment, coupled with the absence of Darda, the Striker of the Year, on the pitch, raised some hope for a positive development. But, in the end, everything ended in a complete defeat.
The first half was marked by uncertainty, as the home team, adapting to new tactical schemes, showed an unconvincing performance. However, the second half of the match brought significant changes: FC Dengoff reached a new level. Reinforced by the virtuoso Marijko, the opponents revived their attack – Marijko himself scored a goal and gave two assists, which led to a flurry of dangerous chances.
In addition, Somov scored a double, and regular wrecker Kalyuzhny scored both a goal and an assist. It is also worth noting the lateral player Shulypa, who, despite his initial mistake, rehabilitated himself in the first half with a non-standard self-shot from a corner, combined with an assist.
Despite the gift of an own goal, we were unable to maintain a positive result, as the opposition’s activity in the second half far outstripped our efforts. This defeat is a signal for further work on the game.
We are grateful to our fans for their support and are confident that the experience gained will help change the dynamics of the game in future matches. FC Mriya does not rest on its laurels – new challenges and victories await us ahead!
Dreams cannot be stopped!
