In the twelfth round of the amateur championship, Mriya hosted one of their strongest opponents, FC Lisne. It was clear from the first round that this was a very serious team, as the Foresters won 7-0. This time, Mriya hoped to put up a real fight, and the first hour of the match confirmed that our guys had made certain conclusions.

The beginning of the game was quite calm, with no tangible sharp moments. However, in the 15th minute, Lisne launched an attack on the right flank, the ball went to Nazar Voloshyn, who beat several defenders and fired into the goalmouth. Our defender Matviy Tsymbal tried to intercept the pass, but cut the ball into his own net – 0: 1.
Almost half an hour into the game, Mriya tried to step it up, but lost the ball in the centre of the pitch. Lesne switched from defence to attack with lightning speed, and Nazar Voloshyn punished the hosts for the second time, scoring directly from the crossbar into the net – 0: 2.

The beginning of the second half was successful for Mriya: in the 52nd minute, Dmytro Shakun passed the ball well and passed it to Serhiy Kozak, who technically beat the goalkeeper and reduced the deficit – 1-2. Our guys seemed to come back into the game and started to act more boldly.
The key moment was an unsuccessful out by Ivan Bykov. Lisne intercepted the ball and quickly broke through to the Mriya goal. Oleg Liga increased the visitors’ advantage to two goals with a right-footed shot – 1-3.

This time, Mriya at least opened its account in the meeting with Lisnyi, while in the previous match it conceded seven goals. The first 60 minutes of the game showed that the team is progressing and can sometimes withstand one of the leaders of the amateur competition.
However, Lisnyi’s experience and confident teamwork showed in the final part of the match, where the guests scored a real goal downpour. Mriya sincerely thanks the opponent for a good lesson and promises to carefully analyse the mistakes in order to avoid similar failures at the end of the match next time.
Together to new achievements! Dreams cannot be stopped!
