Mriya – Sofia / Ukrainian Championship / 12th round / Match review

As the saying goes: ‘The first bagel is leaky’ – but this is just the beginning!

The first match after a long break in the Kyiv Region Amateur Championship brought us new lessons. FC Mriya (Hostomel) met FC Sofia (Sofiyivska Borshchahivka), and our rivals were at their 1000% best – their quick counterattack and exemplary defence allowed them to gain the upper hand. 🔥

In the first half, the game was mostly on the side of Sofia, and at the break the score was 0: 2. 🌪️ In the second half, our dreamers were forced to go on the defensive, carefully choosing moments to attack. Unfortunately, only at the end of the match, in the 79th minute, Dwali Soso broke through to the opponent’s goal and reduced the gap – the final score was 1-2. ⚽💥

We are sincerely grateful to FC Sofia for this experience, which will help us analyse our mistakes and improve our tactics. This is only the first step, and there are still many challenges ahead. Together to new victories! 🤍♥️
