In 2024, FC Mriya embarked on a path of rapid development both on the football field and in the organisational plane. Today we share an important milestone in the history of our club – a restructuring that opens up new opportunities for growth.

Establishment of NGO ‘SSC Mriya’

As part of the reorganisation of the club’s activities, a new legal entity was created – the Social Sports Club Mriya NGO – the new legal core of the project. It became a logical continuation of our mission to combine football with social projects and help internally displaced persons (IDPs) through sport.

This new entity has taken on a key role in the further development of the club, as well as becoming the owner of a stake in FC Mriya LLC and the successor to many of its obligations and initiatives.

Why is it important?

The history of FC Mriya began as a joint initiative of several partners united by the idea of adaptation of IDPs through sport. Their efforts resulted in the creation of a unique football club that not only participates in competitions, but also performs a profound social function: integrating IDPs into new communities, supporting the Ukrainian military, and creating opportunities for young people.

However, development requires clarity, stability and professional management. That is why it was decided to terminate the joint activities with some of the founders and transfer the project management to a new structure, the NGO ‘SSC Mriya’.

What does the restructuring entail?

  • Transfer of ownership of FC Mriya LLC – CSO Mriya received a stake in the club, which allows it to legally implement all strategic decisions regarding the team, competitions, financing and infrastructure development.
  • Transfer of rights to the brand and intellectual property – the logo, social media pages, website, Telegram bot, YouTube channel and all digital resources are officially assigned to the club.
  • The rights to use a land plot in Hostomel, where a large-scale project is planned to be implemented: the construction of a sports and residential town for IDPs with a medical, educational and rehabilitation centre.
  • The previous partners will withdraw from the project on the basis of a full waiver of claims and confidentiality.
  • CSO Restovrator retains non-exclusive rights to the trademark only with the club’s consent to avoid abuse or unauthorised use of the brand.

New stage: new structure – same values

The changes are due to the withdrawal of some partners from the previous structure of the club and the transfer of intellectual property rights (including the FC Mriya trademark) to the club. From now on, all official digital resources – Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, website, Telegram bot – are also administered by the new organisational team.

What’s next?

The restructuring is not the end, but the beginning of a new stage that allows FC Mriya to move forward confidently, openly and efficiently. What’s next:

  • Development of the youth structure: children’s academy and educational initiatives;
  • Infrastructural breakthrough: creation of our own stadium and training complex;
  • Social programmes: assistance to IDPs, support for the military, joint projects with volunteers;
  • Reaching the professional level: participation in the Ukrainian Amateur Championship and preparation for an application to the PFL;
  • Attracting new investors and partners who share Mriya’s values of unity, responsibility and faith in Ukraine.

Mriya continues to live and develop. It becomes even stronger. Even more responsible. Even closer to its goal.

The Mriya is more than football. It is a symbol of resilience, adaptation, and victory of the spirit. We are grateful to everyone who stood at the origins of the club. And we invite those who want to join us – as a player, fan, volunteer or partner. A Mriya is a movement. The Mriya is people. The Mriya is Ukraine.
